Cooking is a task most of us take for granted, yet many people struggle with it on a daily basis due to disabilities. Also, cooking and cookware account for the majority of preventable burn injuries in the household for children and the elderly*. An NC State-funded research project needs a few minutes of your time to make cooking safer and easier for everyone, especially people living with disabilities. As part of the research phase of our project we are surveying people who cook on their experiences in the kitchen:
