Ingredients :

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp sour cream
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup unpeeled apples

Directions :

Heat the oven to 325F
Grease and dust with flour one 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
Cut butter into sugar using two knives in a scissors fashion.
Add the eggs, one at a time.
Beat using a wooden spoon, after each addition.
Blend in the vanilla, then the sour cream.
Sift your dry ingredients together.
Then add the nuts to the dry ingredients.
Combine the dry ingredients into the sour cream mixture.
Gently stir in the apples.
Pour into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes clean.
